نوشته شده توسط:میثم مطلق در شهرسازی » دانلود مقاله | ۱۱ خرداد ۱۳۹۴ - ۱۷:۳۸ | ۱۰۸ دیدگاهامروزه اداره امور یک شهر بدون برخورداری از دانش برنامه‌ریزی شهری امکان‌پذیر نیست.گسترش شهرها ، برنامه‌ریزان، طراحان و کارشناسان امور شهری را به مطالعه بیش‌تر در ابعاد گوناگون توسعه مناطق شهری و تجزیه و تحلیل آن، به منظور ارایه راهکارهای نوین واداشته است. شهرهای بزرگ از یک سو، به نسبت جمعیت و تراکم‌شان دارای پیچیدگی‌های خاصی در مدیریت و اداره شهر هستند، و از سوی دیگر، شهرهای کوچک و میانی نیز با معضلات و مشکلات و مسایلی مواجه‌اند. لذا اگر با برنامه‌ریزی و هدفمند در جهت حل این مسایل اقدام نشود، در آینده مشکل برنامه‌ریزی شهری کشور در سطح ملی و منطقه‌ای و محلی بیش‌تر خواهد شد. برای کمک به ایجاد فرآیندهای تصمیم‌سازی مشارکتی در شهرهای میانی کشورهای در حال توسعه و به منظور کاستن از سطح فقر شهری و تأمین توسعه پایدار، سازمان همکاری شهرها، راهبرد توسعه شهر را به عنوان ابزار مؤثری ترویج می‌نماید.
این پژوهش با روش "کمّی ـ تحلیلی" انجام گرفته است. هدف از این مقاله به کارگیری راهبرد توسعه شهر در توسعه استراتژیک شهرهای میانی برای از میان برداشتن بحران‌ها، چالش‌ها و مسایل شهری کشورهای در حال توسعه از جمله ایران است.
