طرح پیاده‌‌راه‌سازی میدان امام‌حسین‌(ع) تا میدان شهدا برای برگزاری مراسم‌ها و مناسبت‌های آیینی در دست مطالعه و بررسی است. این خبر را سیدمحمدجواد شوشتری، مدیرعامل سازمان زیباسازی شهر تهران در یک نشست مطبوعاتی اعلام کرده است.

به گزارش روابط عمومی سازمان زیباسازی شهر تهران، شوشتری در نشست مطبوعاتی خود، به تشریح عملکرد‌ها و فعالیت‌های سازمان زیباسازی در حوزه زیبایی شهر پرداخت و گفت: «رویکرد سازمان زیباسازی شهر تهران درحال‌حاضر سیاست‌گذاری است و تلاش کرده‌ایم تا این سازمان را از حالت اجرایی در‌آوریم که افزایش حجم پروژه‌های مطالعاتی از 164‌مورد در سال گذشته به 220‌پروژه در سال جاری نشان از موفقیت سازمان در این زمینه است». او با بیان این‌که هدف ما حرکت به‌سمت استفاده از نظر نخبگان و صاحب‌نظران در حوزه طراحی، مطالعاتی، هنرهای شهری و جلب نگاه آن‌هاست، گفت: «برقراری ارتباط سازنده با مراکز دانشگاهی در همین راستا صورت گرفته و هم‌اکنون پروژه‌هایی را نیز با این مراکز تعریف کرده‌ایم. بحث آموزش نیروی انسانی در حوزه‌هایی که سازمان زیباسازی در آن فعال است از دیگر موارد مورد اشاره است که در این زمینه، برای آشنایی با مفاهیم زیباسازی و قوانین و ضوابط آن در سه بخش کارکنان شهرداری، آموزش شهروندی و آموزش شرکت‌های مشاوره و طرف قرارداد با سازمان صورت گرفته است». شوشتری جداسازی طراحی شهری از شهرسازی و تقسیم کار برای انجام برخی طرح‌های شهری از سوی سازمان را یکی مهم‌ترین دستاوردهای سازمان برشمرد و گفت: «براساس همین تقسیم کار، سازمان زیباسازی طراحی 17‌میدان بزرگ شهر را در دست اقدام دارد. از سوی دیگر در این حوزه بحث پیاده‌روسازی و ایجاد فضاهای عمومی از دیگر فعالیت‌های سازمان زیباسازی است». او با اشاره به هنرهای شهری و ترویج آن در فضای شهر گفت: «در کمتر از یک‌سال‌و‌نیم گذشته سازمان زیباسازی تهران سه سمپوزیوم و یک بی‌نیال مجسمه‌سازی برگزار کرده است که کارنامه موفقی نیز داشته است. در همین رابطه نیز سال آینده تصمیم داریم سمپوزیوم بین‌المللی مجسمه‌سازی برگزار کنیم. علاوه‌بر این در حوزه هنرهای شهری نخستین دوسالانه نقاشی دیواری که اسفندماه امسال برگزار می‌شود را در برنامه خود داریم». مدیرعامل سازمان زیباسازی شهر تهران، همچنین با اشاره به برگزاری همایش بین‌المللی زندگی پیاده در شهر که اسفند ماه امسال برگزار می‌شود، گفت: «در 20‌روز فراخوان مقاله برای این همایش 634‌مقاله به دبیرخانه رسید و بیش از 1200‌نفر در آن ثبت‌نام کرده‌اند».
